Perfect for the porch
We bought this lamp for our 3-season porch and it's perfect for the task. It is attractive, well built and easy enough to assemble. The large base ensures that it stays where you put it and it won't tip over if bumped by the dog or blown by the wind. The wood stain is a nice warm color that compliments our porch furniture. The two included choices of fabric shade is also nice for changing the mood. We're using a CFL bulb rated at a 60 watt equivalent with great results. Would recommend it and would buy it again. All we need now is a little electric fireplace for the cooler nights.

Kenroy Home South Pacific Outdoor Floor Lamp

Poor quality
After the lamp was put together I picked it to place it. The base of the lamp is composed of 3 pieces and all 3 separated. The top swiveled and tipped over along with the shade and the base portion spun around as I held the long middle section.

The problem is that the threads on the interior steel post pieces are shot. They don't hold together so the lamp is entirely unstable. It is already back in the box for return.

Quality is iffy...
The lamp came missing pieces (we think). It just didn't assemble right. We ended up having to use an epoxy to glue the pieces of the base together. If I was more motivated, I should have shipped back...
